There are a number of Adventure Missions spread across different planets throughout the World of Honkai Star Rail. One of the Adventure Missions that players can start is in the Astral Express World is Sudden Sadness which involves Pom-Pom and Trailblazer character. Players would have to find and talk to Pom-Pom to start the Sudden Sadness mission.
Sudden Sadness – Walkthrough
The main objective of Sudden Sadness is to distract Pom-Pom and players would have to find something to distract him. This action could be done in three different ways but before we get to each type of distraction, players must talk to Pom-Pom and select the following dialogues.
- What’s Wrong?
- I get sentimental easily.
- Just Ignore it.
- Listen to something else.
After going through the dialogue, there would be three distraction available in the area, Table, Plant, and Cushion. All three of these distraction would be marked with a blue icon and as players go near the item, they would get the option to make a distraction.
Table Distraction Version
In order to make a distraction with the Table, players would have to go near the table and interact with it. After that, they need to select the option to smash it. The sound will lure Pom-Pom and players would have to select the following dialogues to end the mission with Table Distraction Version.

Plant Distraction Version
In order to make a distraction with the Plant, players would have to go near the plant and interact with it. After that, they need to select the option to pluck a leaf from the plant. As players are about to pluck a leaf, Pom-Pom will charges over to the players and then players can select the same dialogues as the table distraction version to end the mission.
Cushion Distraction Version
In order to make a distraction with the cushion, players would have to go near the cushion and interact with it. After that, they need to select the option to lie down on the cushion. As players are about to lie down on the cushion, Pom-Pom will charges over to the players and then players can select the same dialogue as the table/plant distraction version to end the mission.
Rewards
By completing the Sudden Sadness Mission, players will be rewarded with the following items.
- 1x Adventure Log
- 1x Core of Ice
- 8,000 Credits
