Honkai Star Rail has several combat and leveling systems that players will need to get fond of to get the team of their characters to their max potential. However, players would not be able to accomplish that without one of the crucial things and that is Relics.

Relics play a crucial role in strengthening the character as they can boost certain stats and abilities of the character. Players will be able to put on the Relics or complete Sets of the Relics on all of the characters that they are using to enhance the overall potential of the team.

How to Unlock Relics

Relics are not available from the start of the game so the players would have to first reach the point where they would have to unlock them. Players will be able to get their very first number of Relics once they have reach the Level 14 of Trailblazer character and completed the mission named ‘Once Fallen in the Abyss.'” to “Players will be able to get their first Relics once they reach Trailblazer Level 14 and complete the mission named ‘Once Fallen in the Abyss.

Unlock Relics in Honkai Star Rail

From this point onward, players will start getting Relics through different methods. However, before players start testing out other methods, it is important to keep leveling up the Trailblazer character up to level 24/25 and complete the missions to get more useful Relics. Like the other items in Honkai Star Rail, Relics are also divided into rarities which go from 1 star to 5 stars. So, the higher the rarity, the higher the output boost on the character.

Where to Get & Farm Relics

As Relics play a crucial role in enhancing the potential of the characters, there are various ways that players can coupe the Relics. Not all methods will give high rarity Relics at the start so, the players would have to be patient in repeating the procedures to get more useful Relics. Players can follow the following methods to get & farm Relics in Honkai Star Rail.

Level Up Trailblazer

Leveling up Trailblazer is one of the early methods that players would have to stick to in order to get most of the Relics. Pom-Pom will give low rarity Relics before Level 20 but as players level up Trailblazer above Level 20, Pom-Pom will start giving high rarity Relics. It is important to start equipping the Relics to all of the possible characters to enhance their potential while progressing in the game.

World Shops Rewards

As players progress in the main story of the game and unlock new worlds, they will get access to the World Shop in each world. The World Shop in each world has its unique currency that players will get as they complete the quests in the respective worlds. By earning the currency, players need to spend the currency at the shop to buy useful items and materials to make progress in the World Shop Rewards. Every World Shop gives out rewards on every threshold of spending, and as players spend more, they can get 4 Star Relics from the World Shop Rewards.

Open the Treasure Chests

The easiest and the most random method to get Relics is to open the Treasure Chests in all of the areas of the Worlds. As players progress in the main story and unlock new Worlds, it is best to explore the unlocked region to find every possible treasure chest. The Treasure chest will not only give currency or materials but it would also drop Relics. So, make sure to loot every possible treasure chest while completing the mission or exploring the area.

Complete Cavern of Corrosion

Cavern of Corrosion quests are found under the Survival Index, and players can choose to complete these quests by teleporting near the quest point. Completing the quest will reward players with two unique Cavern Relics. However, the rewards are also dependent on the difficulty level, so players who complete the quest in higher difficulties will be able to get even higher rarity Relics. The difficulty level will also increase as players complete each Cavern of Corrosion quest.

Get Relics by completing Cavern of Corrosion Missions

Complete Operation Briefing

Operation Briefing can be found under the Interastral Menu and it contains several missions that players can choose to complete. The early two operation briefings give out normal rewards, but if players complete Operation Briefing 3, 5, and 7, they will be able to get full sets of Relics.

Complete Echo of War

Echo of War is a weekly boss system that can also be found in the Survival Index, and players can participate in Echo of War 3 times in a week. Completing Echo of War will reward players with unique Relics, but mostly useful materials that are required to upgrade the characters.

Craft from Omni Synthesizer

One of the most useful and late-game methods to get Relics is to craft them with custom stats. Players will be able to do that once they have reached Equilibrium Level 3 and use the item named “Self-Modeling Resin,” that allows players to customize the Relic’s main stats. Without using Self-Modeling Resin, the crafted Relics will have random stats that might not be useful for the late-game.

Complete Simulated Universe

Players will also be able to get unique Relics from completing the Simulated Universe missions in the first try. In order to get 5 Star Relics, players can achieve them by completing the World Level 3 in the first try. However, players will be required to defeat the elite enemy and bosses in a high difficulty level in order to achieve them.
