Looting Treasure Chests reward players with respective currency along with EXP, various items, and useful materials which are beneficial in many ways. As EXP is needed for leveling and materials for upgrading weapons, players should get all the possible treasure chests from the area that they are traversing through. One of the early areas that players will get to explore is the Base Zone in the Herta Space Station.
In this guide, we’ll tell you where you can find all of the Treasure Chests in the Base Zone area of Herta Space Station in Honkai Star Rail.
Base Zone Treasure Chests Locations
There are 9 Treasure Chests scattered throughout the whole Base Zone area and players will be able to loot them while exploring the area. We will be telling you the location of each treasure chest from the south side of the Base Zone. The location of each Treasure Chest and what they drop are listed down below.
Treasure Chest #1 Location
The first chest is located in the very south room of the Base Zone. Looting the chest will reward players with the following items.

- 5x Stellar Jade
- 10x Hertareum
- 3x Travel Encounters
- 2x Sparse Aether
- 500x Credit
Treasure Chest #2 Location
Treasure Chest #2 is located in the main hall of the Base Zone area. Go to the bottom right side of the main hall to find the treasure chest and looting it will reward players with the following items.
- 5x Trailblaze EXP
- 5x Stellar Jade
- 10x Hertareum
- 3x Travel Encounters
- 2x Sparse Aether
- 500x Credit
Treasure Chest #3 Location
Treasure Chest #3 is also located in the main hall of the Base Zone. It is located near the Left Staircase of the main hall. Looting the chest will reward players with the following items.

- 5x Stellar Jade
- 10x Hertareum
- 500x Credit
Treasure Chest #4 Location
Treasure Chest #4 is located inside the west room of the Base Zone. Go up the staircase of the main hall and then head inside the west room and the chest will be in the top right corner. looting the chest will reward players with the following items.

- 10x Hertareum
- 3x Travel Encounters
- 2x Sparse Aether
- 500x Credit
Treasure Chest #5 Location
Treasure Chest #5 is located in the Northwest room of the Base Zone. Take the left hallway from the main hall and go straight to reach the northwest room and the chest will be in the middle of the room. Looting it will reward players with the following items.

- 5x Stellar Jade
- 10x Hertareum
- 3x Travel Encounters
- 2x Sparse Aether
- 500x Credit
Treasure Chest #6 Location
Treasure Chest #6 is located at the very start of the east hallway in the Base Zone. Take the right hallway from the main hall and as players cross the door, they would find the chest on the right side. Looting it will reward players with the following items.

- 5x Stellar Jade
- 10x Hertareum
- 3x Travel Encounters
- 2x Sparse Aether
- 500x Credit
Treasure Chest # 7 Location
Treasure Chest #7 is located inside the locked gate on the east hallway. players will have to get 3 authentication keys to unlock it and defeat the foes inside the room. After that, players will be able to loot the Precious Chest inside it which will reward players with 1x The Seriousness of Breakfast!
Treasure Chest #8 Location
Treasure Chest #8 is located inside the Northeast Room of the Base Zone. Go straight on the east hallway to reach the room and go to the left side of the room to find the chest. Looting it will reward players with the following items.

Treasure Chest #9 Location
Treasure Chest #9 is also located inside the Northeast Room of the Base Zone. It would be a Precious Chest located in front of the big screen in the room. Looting it will reward players with the following items.

- 1x Arrows
- 40x Hertareum
