Amazon has revealed another batch of free titles that will be offered to Prime Gaming members. The company announced that the free games for December 2022 would be Quake, Rose Riddle 2: Werewolf Shadow, The Amazing American Circus, Banners of Ruin, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Spinch, Desert Child, and Doors: Paradox.
Prime Gaming offers members new PC titles and exclusive game content every month. While the selection may not be expansive as what’s offered by Xbox, who recently revealed Live Gold’s December 2022 games, it’s still a good deal as it comes free with an Amazon Prime subscription.
Titles from the November 2022 lineup can still be picked up until the end of the month. These are Fallout New Vegas: Ultimate Edition, WRC 9: FIA World Rally Championship, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Last Day of June, Etherborn, Whispering Willows, and Facility 47.
Out of the eight games that will be available for free, Quake is the most well-known of them all. It is a first-person shooter developed by id Software and originally released in 1996. In the game, players must find their way through various medieval maze-like environments while fighting monsters using a variety of weapons. The overall atmosphere is dark and gritty, taking heavy inspiration from Gothic fiction and the works of H.P. Lovecraft.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is also included in the list and is created by film director Josef Fares and Starbreeze Studios. In the game, players must guide two brothers simultaneously on an epic adventure by solving puzzles, exploring different locations, and fighting boss battles to bring back the Water of Life.
All eight titles will be available for download starting December 1st. In December, Amazon Prime Gaming will also offer free in-game content drops for titles, including Apex Legends, Madden 23, Fall Guys, and Valorant.
