The free games from Xbox Games with Gold for December 2022 have been revealed. Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to get two free games next month: Colt Canyon and Bladed Fury. Colt Canyon will be available for the entire month, while Bladed Fury is free from December 16th.
Xbox Live Gold is one of the subscription deals that Microsoft offers, along with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which recently revealed 2022’s November’s Wave 2 games. If you’re a subscriber, you may remember that Xbox 360 games are no longer available through these monthly deals, so if you’re wondering why there are only two games, that’s why.
As part of November’s Games with the Gold line-up, members can still download Praetorians – HD Remaster until the end of the month, while Dead End Job can be redeemed until December 15th.
Colt Canyon is a top-down shooter set in the western wasteland. The game will see players having to shoot their way through areas guarded by bandits. It has randomized levels for added replay value, multiple characters to choose from, over 100 weapons, and countless upgrades. With its fast-paced combat and unique pixel art style that has been compared to Katana Zero, Colt Canyon is designed to be challenging and rewards those with fast fingers.
Bladed Fury is an action game inspired by Chinese history and mythology. The game’s protagonist is Ji, a princess living in the Warring States Period who embarks on a dangerous journey to seek revenge and justice for her family. Bladed Fury is a hack-and-slash action game with fast and fluid combat and many formidable bosses to take down.
All Xbox Live Gold members will be able to get these two games in December. If you have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you’ll also get access to these games.
