With the launch of Diablo IV a ton of new mechanics have been introduced. This includes Seasons Blessing which can be purchased by a currency called Smoldering ashes. Season Blessings are season long bonuses that can be applied to all the newer characters. These can not be used on the pre-existing characters.
In this guide, we’ll teach you how to acquire Smoldering Ashes and how to use them to buy the Seasons Blessings.
How to Earn Smoldering Ashes in Diablo IV?
Smoldering Ashes can be acquired only through Diablo VI’s battle pass. These are available through the free tiers so, you don’t have to buy the premium version of the battle pass. Although, to get these you need to meet two conditions. Firstly, you need to reach a certain tier in the battle pass and Secondly, your character level should match the Smoldering Ashe level.
Following are all the tiers in the Battle pass in which the Smoldering Ashes are available and the level required to claim them:
- Tier 8 has 1 Smoldering Ashe and you need level 40 to claim it.
- Tier 18 has 1 Smoldering Ashe and you need level 53 to claim it.
- Tier 22 has 1 Smoldering Ashe and you need level 56 to claim it.
- Tier 28 has 1 Smoldering Ashe and you need level 62 to claim it.
- Tier 32 has 1 Smoldering Ashe and you need level 66 to claim it.
- Tier 38 has 1 Smoldering Ashe and you need level 71 to claim it.
- Tier 48 has 2 Smoldering Ashes and you need level 78 to claim it.
- Tier 52 has 1 Smoldering Ashe and you need level 80 to claim it.
- Tier 58 has 1 Smoldering Ashe and you need level 82 to claim it.
- Tier 62 has 1 Smoldering Ashe and you need level 86 to claim it.
- Tier 68 has 2 Smoldering Ashes and you need level 89 to claim it.
- Tier 72 has 1 Smoldering Ashe and you need level 90 to claim it.
- Tier 77 has 1 Smoldering Ashe and you need level 93 to claim it.
- Tier 82 has 2 Smoldering Ashes and you need level 97 to claim it.
- Tier 88 has 3 Smoldering Ashes and you need level 100 to claim it.
All the Seasons Blessings and How to Unlock Them.
In Diablo IV, Seasons Blessings can be seen on the Season 1 home page after entering the game. You can find the Seasons Blessings menu on the left side of the screen. Pressing it opens up a choice of five Season Blessings. These Blessings are available for players to choose according to their playstyle. A player can only level up a single blessing by level four. Each of these blessings provide a special boost to a player’s character. First level of each blessing only costs 1 Smoldering Ashe so players can upgrade it as soon as they unlock it.
Use your earned Smoldering Ashes to buy a Seasons Blessing of your choice. Note that when a season comes to an end, Seasons Blessings will also be removed from your character as the characters are transferred to the Eternal Realm at the end of a season.
Following are all the Seasons Blessings and the boosts they provide:
- Urn Of Aggression: 3% increase in experience gained by killing the monsters.
- Urn Of Bargaining: 5% increase in Gold received by selling items to the vendors.
- Urn Of Reclamation: 10% increase in chances of finding rare material when salvaging.
- Urn Of Prolonging: 15% increase in the duration of Elixirs.
- Urn Of Malignance: 5% increase in chances of finding upgraded Malignant Hearts.
