Konami has announced the Master Metal Gear Solid Collection Vol. 1 during the June Nintendo Direct 2023, along with a release date and a better idea of what it entails. The official Gameplay and Platforms Reveal trailer provides a sneak peek of what’s in store for the Master Collection Vol. 1.
The Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 combines all of the original Metal Gear gameplay experiences into a single package jam-packed with stealth action. The game developers revealed that the Master Collection Vol. 1 would include the following:

The title lineup looks amazing with Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear, and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Snake’s Revenge. Furthermore, the digital graphic novels will have animated panels depicting Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2 events.
Apart from the aforementioned content, the Master Collection Vol. 1 would include two regional versions of Metal Gear, an original version of Snake’s Revenge, a digital soundtrack, and video versions of the first and second Digital Graphic Novels.
The Screenplay book, along with the master book, would detail the story and characters and the in-game text. However, this collection contains the original versions of the games, with only minor changes to copyrighted content.
Furthermore, the pre-order bonuses include additional perks, such as digital soundtracks with newly recorded orchestral covers of Metal Gear Solid themes. These themes include Snake Eater, Can’t Say Goodbye to Yesterday, and The Best Is Yet To Come. These tracks will be available for download when the game launches.
The Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 24th October 2023, with pre-orders available now for $59.99.
