Konami is notorious for being the worst secret keepers, and they appear to be proving that yet again. Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake is the developers’ worst-kept secret. A number of credible insiders and leakers have confirmed that an MGS 3 remake is in the works. Although there has been no official confirmation of the project, rumors of it have been circulating for quite some time, and the title appears to be all but confirmed.
The most recent development in this regard is that Donna Burke, a voice actor, and singer, teased her involvement in the project, fueling even more MGS3 remake rumors. She took to Twitter and shared a photo of herself holding a Snake Eater Card. This may appear to be a routine post, but the caption reads, recording in progress, so there is clearly work in progress.
As if this tweet wasn’t enough confirmation, Burke also hinted at the project being worked on in another tweet. She posted a few pictures from the recording booth again, totally casual, but a keen stalker has sighted a sheet containing the lyrics to the theme song of Metal Gear Solid 3.
In addition, the alleged game developers, Virtuos Studio, have indirectly confirmed the remake by listing Konami as one of its clients, strengthening the rumors even more. By the looks of it, all indications point to an MGS3 remake in the works. With all these rumors supported by evidence, the developers may finally speak out about the project or even confirm it entirely.
