V Rising is a survival game in which the protagonist is a vampire. You unlock abilities throughout the game but some bosses are still hard to beat so today, we are gonna help you with finding and defeating Baron Du Bouchon in V Rising.
Baron Du Bouchon Location
Baron Du Bouchon is located in the Brighthaven Vineyards in Silverlight Hills. You can easily reach him and start the fight by attacking him.
Attack Range
You need to maintain your distance from the boss fight if you want to win it and this is very crucial for this fight because he deals all the damage based on his melee attacks so it’s better to use range weapons and abilities.
Dodge/Destroy Barrels
One of the most important steps to win this fight is to either dodge or destroy the barrels because if one of the barrels hits you, you can get stunned for a decent amount of time. Now the best and simplest way to avoid getting stunned is by using your Dash. The barrels actually have a decent amount of hit points so I prefer that you use something strong like X Strike (throwing 2 axes in the shape of an X) or you can use 1 of the reaper’s abilities called Tendon Swing in which you swing in a 360 degree angle.
Counter Attack
After dodging the barrels, you need to focus on ranged attacks, and for the extra damage, you need to focus on countering the attacks that Baron throws at you. Keep in mind that he talks before performing every attack. At 75 Percent Health, he’ll gain a new powerful attack in which he hits a large area close to him, and it’s pretty hard to spot, so save your dash for this one.
Barrels Changing Directions
At around 30 Percent Health the barrels will change direction and come non-stop but don’t worry these barrels are widespread and are easy to dodge so you can just walk through them.
Rewards
After defeating Baron Du Bouchon, you’ll gain the Sanguine Coil ability, recipe for the Barrel Disguise, Blood Merlot, and the Blood Merlot Amulet as shown in the picture above.
