After defeating Gyoubu Oniwa in Sekiro, you’ll soon encounter the blazing bull, an aggressive and challenging boss. Like other bosses, you can’t just rely on deflecting because this is not a fight where the posture matters. Your aim is to lower the bull’s health in this fight. Deflecting his attacks is useless because a fire on his head gives you burn damage if you fight it head-on. The primary key to winning this fight is confidence and dodging.
Shinobi Firecracker
If you have acquired the Shinobi Firecracker Prosthetic tool now, I recommend you to use it on the Blazing Bull as it will stun the bull for a short duration, giving you an opening to deal some damage, but don’t rely too heavily on it because as soon as the stun effect ends, the bull will charge towards you dealing dangerous damage.
Chasing the Bull
Instead of running away from the bull, the best and most straightforward way to defeat the blazing bull is to chase and hit the bull from behind. Keep dodging and chasing it to deal damage to its butt.
