Infinity Ward has recently released a new update for Modern Warfare 2, which aims to fix many bugs in the game. One of these is the infamous party crash bug, which gave players who wanted to play with friends a lot of trouble.

This update is now live. Players in parties should see significant improvement.

This bug in the game was first noticed by players a few days ago. The bug causes the game to crash completely whenever they would join a party. While the bug is inconsistent, it has caused players a lot of grief and has been a significant issue whenever they’ve wanted to group up with their friends. This caused a lot of conversation within the community about this issue, but it seems the developers at Infinity Ward have gotten the memo.

In one of their newest tweets, Infinity Ward acknowledged that they were fixing the party bug and thanked the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 community for being patient. At the time of writing, the update has gone live, so players should update the game to resolve the issue. We didn’t know the actual reason for the bug, so it’s not like players were able to avoid it, so they had to deal with the issue until Infinity Ward stepped in to fix the situation.

The COD franchise’s latest entry has had many bugs since its launch. Players have reported having multiple issues, such as being unable to access the game’s menu while in a match. There was another issue on PlayStation 4 which caused various audio problems. Infinity Ward also had to disable the game’s ping system, as players discovered that they could track enemy players while in a match. The party bug is one issue in a sea of problems.
