The “Light Dragon” is one of the four dragons in the game, It is one of the hardest to locate and to get on to, So let’s see how to locate this Dragon.
How to locate the “Light Dragon”?
The “Light Dragon” follows a specific path on the map of Hyrule, a single lap around the map takes about 112 minutes for the “Light Dragon” to complete, “Light Dragon” travels on its path at a fairly high altitude of 2200 meters.
To find its location, you would need to activate the main quest called the “Hero’s Sword”, in order to activate this quest you need to do a little side quest in the Korok’s Forest.
To get to the Korok’s Forest, you need to get to the location of the Minshi Wood’s Chasm.
When you reach this location, drop down into the chasm, Beware that there are Gloom Hands down there just try to get past them without fighting, as it would be really difficult also you would require a lot of resources.
Once you drop into the Chasm, you need to head towards the Northern Side, upon walking in that direction you’ll reach a light root called the Rikonasm Lightroot at co-ordinates (0406,2134,-0592).
Collect the light root, to fill up your Gloom Hearts, then head to the Stony Structure which is very near to the light root, the Structure’s coordinates are (0437,2094,-0588). When you reach this structure ascend through the ceiling to the Korok Forest.
Now that you are in the Korok Forest, you need to get to Deku Tree, Once you get to the Deku Tree, it will ask you to fight Gloom and Phantom Ganon which are causing havoc.
Head towards Deku Tree’s Stomach and fight Gloom and Phantom Ganon in its stomach, once you’ve defeated both, ascend to the top from Deku’s stomach and talk to Deku Tree once again.
When you talk to Deku Tree again, the “Hero’s Sword” quest will get activated.
After the quest gets activated, open the game map, and you’ll see a moving marker, this marker is of the “Hero’s Sword”, however the marker will be moving around the map because the sword is located on the head of the “Light Dragon” after this “Hero Sword” quest is activated the “Light Dragon” also would start dropping to an altitude of 700-800 meters.
Now that you have the active location marker of the “Light Dragon”, keep an eye on the marker and simply fast-travel to the nearest sky tower according to the Dragon’s Location, activate the tower so you can get into the air, now just glide towards the dragon so you can get on it.
A quick tip before you take “Hero’s Sword” is that if you want to farm the “Light Dragon” parts, you need to do that before you take the sword as the “Light Dragon” will throw you off after that.
