Bandai Namco appears to be gearing up for the ultimate showdown of power and skill as the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour returns. The Dragon Ball FighterZ Official World Tour 2023-24 has been officially announced by the studio through Twitter.
The Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour 2023-24 will be majorly categorized into the Power Events and the Tenkachi. The Power Events will be the premium events, whereas the Tenkachi will be the community tournaments.
The Power Events will consist of seven qualifying tournaments held at various locations around the world. Players from all over the world will compete in their respective Power Events, and the winners of the designated Power Events will receive the prestigious Dragon Ball Trophy, but that’s not all there is to it! The Champions from each of these tournaments will also earn a spot to compete in the Finals.
The Power Events include tournaments including Evo, Versus Fighting, Rev Major, Thunderstruck, East Coast Throwdown, Thaiger Uppercut, and an unannounced tournament. These tournaments will be held at the following locations.
- Evo at Nevada, United States, from 4th-6th August.
- Versus Fighting at Manchester, United Kingdom, from 18th-20th August.
- Rev Major at Manila, Philippines, from 30th September-1st October.
- Thunderstruck at Stamford, United States, from 7th-8th October.
- East Coast Throwdown at Stamford, United States, from 20th-22nd October.
- Thaiger Uppercut at Bangkok, Thailand, from 3rd-5th November.
In addition to all this action, community tournaments from around the world can also join in on the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour through the Tenkachi. It is exclusively for community tournaments and lets players from these tournaments compete and earn points to grab a ticket to the finals as a reward.
The Dragon Ball FighterZ Official World Tour 2023-24 will kick off at EVO 2023 in Nevada, Las Vegas, on August 4, 2023. The official announcement trailer by Bandai Namco reveals the critical details along with some glimpses from past tournaments.
