General Traunt is a “Boss” in Borderlands 3, appearing late in the game at Desolation’s Edge on the Nekrotafeyo Planet. How to defeat General Traunt?
In this battle, General Traunt will use various moves. When you enter the arena, General Traunt will throw Shock Orbs and Acid Orbs at you.
Additionally, he will produce a Giant Shock Orb or Acid Orb that will shrink down into multiple Small Orbs. They will spread around the arena, creating halos. You will get hurt if you touch one.
General Traunt will also send a large Beam of Shock and laser toward you. Another move he will use is producing a large Shock Orb that moves around in circles in the arena.
To defeat General Traunt, we recommend you use Shock-Based Weapons, as they are best for taking down General’s Shield. General Traunt has “1” bar of Shield and another one of HP. The key to winning this fight easily is to hit the Weak Point of General Traunt, which is a Generator on his back. Also, try to move and jump around in the arena to dodge attacks.
Be mindful of your surroundings when one of the Orbs hits the ground, as they last for a while on the ground. So, try to move around them. Just avoid his shock orbs, move around his attacks, and use your Shock-Based Weapon on him. Once the Shield bar is depleted, his HP will start going down fairly quickly, and General Traunt will be defeated.
