Digital Extremes has recently announced that they will launch another update for Warframe at the end of the month, called Lua’s Prey. The update will come to the free-to-play game on all platforms and adds a host of new content, including the werewolf frame.
Warframe is a free-to-play multiplayer game developed by Digital Extremes. While the game may not be as popular as other free-to-play titles, it still has an active fanbase. Despite being released in 2013, Digital Extremes has continued to develop new content for the game, and the latest update is no different.
Lua’s Prey introduces YuVarium and Circulus nodes to Lua and features a unique survival mission with a twist, Conjunction Survival. Like other survival missions in Warframe, players must maintain life support by running life support towers and collecting life support pods dropped by slain enemies. However, setting off the alarms will introduce the spectral soldier Dax heading towards the Life Support Towers throughout Lua, surrounded by mysterious zero energy of all colors. Entering this area grants players 100% ability power and 50% casting speed buff for 5 seconds. These buffs will remain as long as the player remains in the area of effect.
Another addition to the game is Voruna and her loyal wolf pack, the 51st playable frame in the game. This frame specializes in stealth and strength, with each of Voruna’s wolves having unique abilities. Voruna can be purchased instantly with real money, or you can get the blueprints and materials needed to unlock her in-game.
Lastly, the update also introduces a ton of new cosmetics in the form of The Golden Mend Collection and adds Nora’s Mix Volume 3 on Pirate Radio. There’s also the addition of new limited-time bundles and a new sale on various items within the shop.
