Riot Games has released a cinematic trailer for the highly anticipated Team Deathmatch and revealed key details about the upcoming Mode. The new game mode will be orchestrated by the menacing Maxbot, who has had enough of being abused at work.

The Team Deathmatch mode for Valorant will be released alongside Episode 7 and will pit players against each other in a battle royale-style battle. Furthermore, it will allow players to use the revamped progression system coming in Episode Seven and focus solely on weapon aiming.

VALORANT

The trailer reveals that Team Deathmatch will pit five-person teams against each other across three new custom maps, each of which appears to be an amalgamation of all current Valorant maps. Piazza, District, and Kasbah are among the new custom maps.

These maps are designed more like team deathmatch maps found in respawn multiplayer shooters, with fewer planting and defusing spikes and significantly more obstacles and clutter. Furthermore, weapon spawners, recovery orbs, and ultimate orbs will also be available on the maps.

The Team Deathmatch mode will consist of four stages, with the goal for each team to reach 100 kills first. Players will not die; instead, they will respawn every 1.5 seconds. Furthermore, players will have to select a loadout at the start of each stage or at any time in the spawn room.

In addition, players will also have access to their abilities in the Team Deathmatch. Here’s the list of weapons available at each stage of the Team Deathmatch in Valorant.

  • First Stage: Pistols
  • Second Stage: Ares, Stinger, or Sheriff
  • Third Stage: Bulldog, Guardian, Spectre, or Ares
  • Fourth Stage: Vandal and Phantom
