The latest version of Ubisoft Connect will be an entirely new framework, allowing for a new and refreshing look while also making finding and playing with other players a smooth experience, which was undoubtedly one of the major concerns in the past.

The Ubisoft Connect PC Beta will have integrated streaming capabilities that will allow players to spotlight their friends and see what they are up to. Furthermore, the Ubisoft+ will also be integrated into the game library. This will unite all of your games and subscriptions into one place, providing ease of access.

The UI will also get an overhaul adding new options and a more sophisticated look to the game library. The developers mentioned that they want to drive and pioneer the accessibility of PC gaming apps. They admitted, however, that they are not currently where they would like to be in terms of accessibility and that they are working on it.

Moreover, the Connect Beta will have a built-in feedback system built directly into the app. This will help the players to provide their feedback directly in the app. Charles Huteau, Creative Director for Ubisoft Connect, pointed out that it was the players’ feedback that shaped the new features that will be released with the update. He further emphasized the importance of the players’ feedback by adding that the feedback will help to shape things in the future as well. He said:

We took the time to really digest all the feedback that we received in the last years about the desktop app. The new app is focused on accessibility, ease of access, and making sure that it’s clear to the user how to find what they are looking for. We know from user feedback that revamping the library is the most important piece of the puzzle.

The Ubisoft Connect PC Beta version will roll out this summer will the addition of all the aforementioned features. The official announcement trailer provides a sneak peek of the new features coming with the Ubisoft Connect Beta.

How to Switch to Ubisoft Connect PC Beta Version

Players who want to test out the Beta version of Ubisoft Connect PC can easily switch to the beta version, and the best part is that they’ll have the option to switch back to the stable version at any time. However, the beta version may lack some features from the standard edition, so if you want to use them, you’ll need to switch back to the standard version.

The following steps will let you switch from the standard version to the beta version of the Ubisoft Connect PC.

  1. In the Ubisoft Connect PC window, click Beta in the top-right corner
  2. Afterward, select Continue from the pop-up menu. The Ubisoft Connect app will now restart.
  3. Log in to your Ubisoft account again.
  4. You’ll be in the beta Version.

Similarly, you can perform the same steps in the beta version to switch back to the standard version.
