How to Respawn the Ender Dragon in Minecraft?
It is really simple to respawn the Ender Dragon as long as you know where your end portal is. You just need a few materials in order to do it. However, the main fight will not be easy so, use your best weapon and armor and also consider using potion buffs and lastly, bring Golden Apples for when you get very low. Now, in this guide we’ll be teaching you how to respawn the Ender Dragon and how to make and use end crystals.
Materials Required
In order to respawn the Ender Dragon you’ll need 4 End Crystal and to make them you need the following Materials:
- 4 Ghast Tears
- 4 Eyes of the Ender
- 28 Glass
To make a single End Crystal you need 7 Glasses, 1 Ghast Tear and 1 Eye of Ender. That is why in order to make 4 of them will require 28 Glasses, 1 Ghast Tear and 1 Eye of Ender. The Eye of Ender can be made with an Ender Pearl and Ablaze Powder. Ghast Tears drop when you kill a Ghast. Finally, you can make Glass by cooking sand in the furnace.
Once you have 4 End Crystals, you’re ready to respawn Ender Dragon. Note that End Crystals can only be placed on Bedrock or Obsidian and if you accidentally place it on any other block, you’ll have to remake one as you can not re-obtain it.
Respawning the Ender Dragon
You can use these 4 Ender Crystals and the final portal to respawn the Ender Dragon. Here’s how
Find the Portal
This portal is really easy to find. If you have already beaten the Ender Dragon, you’ll know where to find it. However, if you have forgotten the exact location of the Portal, just go to the end world and look around. The portal will have a pillar coming up from its center with the Dragon Egg resting on top of it. It is illuminated with four torches on each side. When you reach the Portal, don’t fall inside it as it will end the game.
Place the End Crystals
After finding the Portal, place all four End Crystal on the middle-most block on each side. Placing these Crystals will start the process of Ender Dragon respawning.
After The Ender Crystals will shoot crystal beams of light towards each pillar until they are fully formed. When the crystals shoot the beam towards the pillars, an explosion will occur near the center of the portal. This explosion will cause the Ender Dragon to come back.
The Respawn of Ender Dragon
Once all the outer pillars and their End Crystals are finished rebuilding, the Ender Dragon will be respawned. You will then see the boss bar appear on top of your screen.
At this point, the End Portal will disappear and in order to get back home safely, you’ll need to defeat the Ender Dragon.
Congratulations! Now you know how to respawn the Ender Dragon. This is the most exciting fight in the whole game, and now you can enjoy it again without using any in-game commands. Also, fighting the Ender Dragon again is a good source of dragon’s breath. Just remember to bring glass bottles with you so that you can make lingering potions.
