The Isle of Yearning is an island where pirates have hidden their precious treasures, according to a rumor. As the name “Yearning” suggests, you will have to grind a lot to claim its rewards.
Where Is the Isle of Yearning Located?
Isle of Yearning is located in the western part of the World Map, east of Feiton and beyond the Wall of Procyon. The exact location is shown on the map below:
- Admission Period: Always Open
Requirements
- We recommend adventuring to this island with a party and item level of at least 1000-1200.
- Best Equipment possible to defeat Slow Turtle Captain.
- Access beyond the Wall of Procyon.
- High-Level Sandstorms and Dead Waters surround the Isle, so prepare your Ship accordingly.
How to Get the Isle of Yearning Soul?
The Isle of Yearning Soul is considered one of the most difficult Island Souls in Lost Ark. It doesn’t drop directly; instead, it has two phases of RNG (Random Drop). The first phase is to get the Setino’s Secret Bag, the RNG, for defeating the Slow Turtle Captain boss. Getting the Soul out of the bag is the second phase (random drop within a random drop). There is a chance to obtain one of the following items from Setino’s Secret Bag:
- Ancient Silver Coin
- Ancient Gold Coin
- Ancient Platinum Coin
- Isle of Yearning Soul
The drop rate of both Soul and the Secret Bag is extremely low. You might get it on your first try if you are lucky enough; otherwise, prepare yourself to wait a long time before getting your hands on the precious Isle of Yearning Soul.
Slow Turtle Captain Boss Fight
There are two spawn locations for Slow Turtle Captain, and respawn timer is approximately 45 seconds for both of them. Camp both locations with your party and farm the boss to acquire the Island Soul eventually.
Note: Parties do share drops.
If you are a solo player, choose the first location of the boss as no other enemies are hitting you, and also, there is less area for the boss to dodge your attacks. The boss fight itself is pretty simple, but his health bar is massive. Hence consider using fast attacks to defeat him quickly.
