Arc System Works announced that “Guilty Gear: Strive” will be on the Nintendo Switch starting January 23, 2025, for $59.99. This will let more players enjoy the game. Developed by Arc System Works and created by Daisuke Ishiwatari, “Guilty Gear: Strive” is known for its top-notch 2D/3D graphics and fun gameplay.
Originally released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on June 11, 2021, with an arcade version on July 29, 2021, and for Xbox Series X/S and PC on March 6, 2023, the wait is finally over for Nintendo Switch users.
This edition of Guilty Gear: Strive on the Switch brings together all 28 characters from the game’s Seasons 1 through 3, allowing fans to fight as beloved favorites like Sol Badguy and Slayer.
Besides multiplayer modes, the game will feature several single-player modes, including:
- Arcade
- Survival
- Story
- Tutorial
- Training
The Switch version will keep the same top-notch graphics and gameplay as the other console and PC versions.
Players can look forward to a fully voiced, over 6-hour story mode that wraps up Sol Badguy’s journey, and an “Another Story” mode—a full-length movie showing events happening in the background of the main story.
New features like wall-breaking and rollback net-code ensure smooth online battles. Players can enjoy various modes, including:
- Tutorial Mode: Basics of game-play.
- Mission Mode: Tasks in different mission challenges.
- Survival Mode: Fight consecutive CPU enemies with limited health.
- Training Mode: Practice and re-create different battle situations.
