Hermit Village stands out in Elden Ring, offering valuable entities like Mage Armor, a Memory Stone, a Prattling Plate, and the game’s most potent spell. Visiting this location proves advantageous, providing essential tools for your journey. If you’re keen on discovering Hermit Village, read on to learn how to reach this intriguing destination.
How To Reach Hermit Village
To find Hermit Village, head southwest from Volcano Manor in Mt. Gelmir. The journey involves taking a longer path to reach the village.
There are two approaches to reach Hermit Village. The easiest route involves locating the Medallion Hives for the Grand Lift of Dectus, providing a risk-free path to the village. If the Grand Lift of Dectus hasn’t been activated, the second option involves facing a Boss fight.
We strongly recommend obtaining the Medallion Halves from Forts Farogh Haight. Opt for the Altus Plateau Path to reach Hermit Village quickly and easily. This path allows you to bypass Boss battles while collecting the Medallion Halves, ensuring a smoother and faster journey to Hermit Village.
Once you activate the lift and reach Altus Plateau, locate the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace north of the lift. Follow the path until you reach the red-marked area, “The Hermit Village.” Along the way, you may encounter two Bosses, but you can choose to bypass them and continue your journey toward the village.
Keep in mind that reaching Hermit Village presents various challenges, but sticking to the specified path will guide you there.
