How to Get Necrochasm?
You can get Necrochasm in Destiny 2 in two ways. However, for both methods, you have to beat Crota, Son of Oryx. All the methods are given below.
Finish the Crota’s End Raid in Contest Mode Within 48 Hours
If you play the raid in the contest mode within the first 48 hours and have defeated Crota, you are in luck, as you don’t have to make any more effort to get the Necrochasm Rifle. It can be obtained when you go to the raid vendor to access the “Bottomless Pit” quest; you will see that it has been marked as completed.
Yes, Bungie has rewarded you with the exotic weapon Necrochasm for your willingness to play the game in a challenging mode. The reward list does not end there. You will also get Husk of the Pit and a fully masterworked Eidolon Ally, which will be available in your inventory.
Play Bottomless Pit Quest
If you have failed to complete it in the first 48 hours, you must go to the sword vendor to grab the Bottomless Pit Quest after beating Crota. You will be rewarded with Husk of the Hive for defeating him.

Step 1: Defeat 100 Hive With Husk of the Pit
Husk of the Pit is the standard version of Necrochasm. You must use it to kill 100 Hive to complete this objective. Going to the Grasp of Avarice dungeon would be best for quick kills. Once you have made a hundred kills, you will be rewarded with Eidolon Ally.
Step 2: Collect 20 Essence of the Oversoul
You can collect Essence of the Oversoul by completing the raid encounters or by winning the raid’s triumphs. Completing the triumphs is the fastest way to farm these essences. However, it still takes a lot of time. Once you have 20 Essence of the Oversoul, you can claim your Necrochasm at the Crota raid vendor.
Crota will give you a hard time, but it is worth it because of the Necrochasm reward. Follow the mentioned steps to get your hands on it as soon as possible.
