Sega and Two Point Studios have announced that Two Point Campus will receive the Space Academy expansion this December. It will launch on December 6th for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, while the Nintendo Switch version will follow later on December 12th.
Two Point Campus is a business simulation game developed by Two Point Studios and published by Sega. It is the successor to Two Point Hospital and is tasked with building and managing a university campus. The game was well received by critics and was the second best-selling game in the UK in its first week of release. As with any game, such as Overwatch 2, which recently revealed the new hero Ramattra, developers release new content over time.
The new Space Academy adds new interplanetary campus locations, including an asteroid that looks like cheese and additional student archetypes, courses, and classrooms for your college. You’ll need to rebuild Two Point County’s space program from its base in the town of Universe City, though the expansion includes the aforementioned out-of-county campus.
No matter where you are, you can add new room types, such as the Command Room, which develops your cadets into rookie Captain Kirks, and the Battle Space combat simulator, which will give your students energy batons, although that may not be a great idea.
The expansion also adds a wide variety of new extracurricular activities players can participate. Two Point Studios developers have stated that you can host a sci-fi conference in the student union, inviting space Elvis to a concert, and join a time-traveling company. You will also be able to recruit several new students, from astronauts and space knights to actual aliens.
Two Point Campus’ Space Academy expansion will release on December 6th, 2022, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The Nintendo Switch version will release on December 12th, 2022.
