To conquer the overworld and every other dimension present in Minecraft, you must become the strongest version of yourself, and to achieve this purpose, you must have the finest skills, most destructible weapons and most rigid armor present in the game. This guide will guide you on the toughest armor in the game, the Netherite Armor.
How to get/make Netherite Armor in Minecraft 1.20.2:
In previous updates, one could create Netherite Armor directly at a crafting table using netherite ingots. However, the process has now changed. You can only upgrade a Diamond Armor into Netherite Armor by following a different procedure. Here are the items you’ll need to upgrade any diamond armor piece to netherite:
A Diamond Armor piece that you need to upgrade:
First, you must make a Diamond Armor piece that you want to upgrade in netherite armor. You have to place diamond ores on the crafting table in order to get one. The chances of getting these diamond ores can be increased if you consider the mines and caves for the purpose of mining. In addition, the probability of generation of diamond ores near lava is enormous.
A Netherite Ingot:
Create a netherite ingot by placing 4 netherite scraps and 4 gold ingots on a crafting table in any order. Netherite scraps can be gained from the Ancient Debris found in the blazing dimension of the Nether. Y-8 to Y-17 are the most common levels used for the mining of ancient debris. These netherite scraps can also be found in the chests that are spawned in the lethal dungeons of Nether.
A Smithing Template:
It is the key element of upgrading your armor in netherite that was recently introduced. These smithing templates can only be found in the Bastion Remnants of the Nether. These are very difficult to obtain as looting bastions is not ordinary, but using lava and boats is the most worthwhile strategy to takedown these notorious Piglins and Piglins Brutes.
After getting your hands on these, follow these steps to convert your diamond armor into netherite armor:
- Place the Smithing Table on any solid surface to access it and interact with it.
- After that, place your preferred diamond armor piece in the second piece as shown:
- Lastly, Place the netherite ingot in the third box to get the expected result.
Follow this abovementioned procedure in order to create more netherite armor pieces. Furthermore, this same process applies if you want to upgrade your tool or weapons into netherite.
