In this guide, we will talk about one of the most straightforward puzzles to solve, which you’ll get through progressing in the main storyline no matter which house you pick, but finding the map will be different for all four houses.
How to Get the Floating Candle Map (Each House)
Gryffindor: If you are a Gryffindor, you must speak to Sir Patrick Delaney-Poddmore in The Hunt for the Missing Pages and then find the map in the crypt.
Slytherins: While completing the Scrope’s Last Hope quest, you need to head into the cave under Hogwarts. Place an offering on the stand, and it’ll give you the way to the hidden cave to get your map.
Hufflepuff: While playing The Prisoner of Love quest, you can find the map behind the shop in Upper Hogsfield.
Ravenclaw: If you’re a Ravenclaw, simply head to Owlery while playing the Ollivander’s Last Heirloom quest.
How to Solve the Floating Candles Puzzle
You can quickly solve this puzzle by teleporting to the Forbidden Forrest Floo network and heading left to the stone bridge. Once there, you must ignite your wand with Lumos spell, and the candles will appear. Keep following the candles through the Forbidden Forest, and you’ll solve the quest.
