Elden Ring: Activating Malenia’s Great Rune
Once you have defeated Malenia, you must go to the Tower of Return and climb to the top. Upon reaching the top, you’ll find a chest near a ballista; this chest serves as a transporter trap, whisking you away to the Divine Bridge. Once you are on the bridge, you can activate a Site of Grace, and then, in front of you will be a small arena in which you’ll see a Golem lying down.
A fight starts as soon as you approach the Golem. Defeating the Golem grants you access to a chest and unlocks the nearby Waygate, leading you to the Isolated Divine Tower.
Once spawned near the Isolated Divine Tower. Hold the Malenia’s Great Rune in hand to open the doors of the Divine Tower. From there, just head to the top and activate the rune.
Once you activate Malenia’s Great Rune, instead of getting a stat bonus, It allows you to heal from your attacks after taking damage. This comes at the cost of less health being restored by the Flash of Crimson Tears and the healing Incantations. How this Great Rune will work is that once you have been attacked, you have 5 seconds to strike them back to restore your health.
