In order to unlock the World Boss Ashava, you need to complete the Diablo IV campaign. Once completed, the World Boss will occasionally start appearing on the map.
Ashava was originally featured in the Diablo IV open betas for player feedback only. While, The World Bosses are exclusively endgame content in the full release.
Ashava Spawn Times
Once the campaign has been completed, Ashava will spawn every three hours in Diablo IV. Additionally, to make the navigation process easier, a countdown timer and quest marker will appear on its location 30 minutes before spawning.
A maximum of 12 players can get together to beat Ashava and they all get Legendary rewards upon defeating it.
Ashava Spawn Location
Ashava will spawn in The Crucible. It is a small level (25-plus) area on the southern edge of Fractured Peaks.
How to Defeat Ashava?
Ashava can be weakened by constantly hitting her with Crowd Control skills that should have effects like Taunt, Freeze, Knock Down, Daze, Slow, Stun, Immobilize and Chill.
Hitting Ashava constantly will fill a yellow meter under its health bar. Once the meter is full, Ashava will be staggered, giving players a 12-second window to deal uninterrupted damage.
You can also use the following tip to beat Ashave easily:
- Poison Resistant Gear: Wearing Poison Resistant Gear will help you alot in this battle as most of Ashava’s attacks inflict poison damage.
- Move Away: Moving away from any circle that appears on the ground is very necessary as these circles indicate Ashava’s imminent arm attacks.
- Dodging: You can easily dodge Ashava’s consecutive sweep attacks by being really close to it or behind it.
- Avoid Poison Clouds: Try your best to avoid any Poison Cloud that Ashava releases during the battle as these clouds inflict heavy poison damage.
Rewards
The best loot you can gain by defeating Ashava is Legendary Gear and Scattered Prisms. Although Legendary gear items have the best overall stats and buffs, Scattered Prisms help in adding sockets to gear.
Scattered Prisms can be used to socket gear items with gems such as Amulets, Rubies, Skulls and Diamonds which improves their stats and viability significantly. This can also make fighting and beating Ashava worth it.
That is all about Ashava. Hopefully this guide helped you. Thanks for reading and Have Fun!
