The rooms are all designed according to their characteristics, and each common room has different features and interactions to discover. Finding the Slytherin Common Room in Hogwarts can be a bit tricky, as it’s hidden well within the castle’s dungeons. If you are also struggling to find the room, follow this guide till the end.
Finding Slytherin Common Room in Hogwarts
If you are chosen as a Slytherin during the ceremony, you will get a navigation path to the common room however, if you are just a sneaky explorer, head towards the Grand Staircase, where all the rooms connect.
Once in the center, start moving all the way down till you reach the bottom of the staircase. You will find a big wooden door; stepping through the door transports you to the Slytherin Dungeon. the sight of snakes adorning the floor suggests the common room is close at hand. Take a right from the door you entered and move straight into the hallway. You have finally reached the Slytherin Common Room entrance.
However, it will not be revealed unless you are a Slytherin student (it will just be like another plain wall). If you go there as a Slytherin, a massive silver serpent emerges, unveiling the entrance to the Slytherin Common Room.
