Hogwarts Legacy: Solving Door Puzzles
Solving the Hogwarts Legacy door puzzle is relatively simple, involving the calculation of mathematical questions presented in the form of animal symbols. At times, you’ll encounter plain numbers, and in other instances, the doors will display animal symbols that you need to calculate. Once you’ve successfully solved the puzzle, treasure chests will be waiting for you to open. However, before delving into the door puzzle, you need to familiarize yourself with the symbols provided below.
Each animal depicted in the image above is assigned a specific value. These values will be crucial in solving the door puzzles. The assigned values for these animal symbols are as follows:
- Owl: 0
- Unicorn: 1
- Dragon:2
- Hydra: 3
- Demiguise: 4
- Quintaped: 5
- Salamander: 6
- Octopus: 7
- Spider: 8
- Snake: 9
As shown in the image above, the initial part of the puzzle features a 9 in the middle, 2 on the left side, a Hydra above, and a question mark on the right. Your task is to determine and fill the question mark placeholder so that the combined sum of the 2 on the left, the Hydra, and your number equals the middle number, 9. Given that the Hydra equals 3, the value of the question mark placeholder will be 4. Subsequently, you need to select the animal symbol corresponding to the number 4, which, in this case, is Demiguise.
Now, all that remains is to switch the medallion to the Animal symbol. The right medallion corresponds to the top part of the puzzle, while the left medallion relates to the bottom part of the puzzle. This is how you successfully solve the door puzzles.
