Eighth Heroine is one of the most essential side quests throughout the game as it rewards you with “Sand Boots” that make running in the Gerudo Desert so much easier. The objective of the quest is to find and take a photo of the statue but it is not as simple as it may seem. However, this guide will teach you step-by-step on how to complete the Eighth Heroine quest.
Requirements to start the quest
You need to dress Link in a woman disguise to start this quest, literally. Before that interacting with Bozai is impossible (the NPC who offers the quest). Once you equip the disguise, talk with Bozai mostly jogging in the sand, on the outskirts of Gerudo Town (in Gerudo Wastelands). He will tell you about the Eighth Heroine statue and gift you “Snow Boots” for your journey to find it.
How to complete the quest
To travel up to the mountains in search of the statue, equip all of your warm armor and snow boots. The location you need to go to is Gerudo Summit, from there head towards the north-west direction. You will find a deep cliff, glide down there, and land on the hands of the statue.
Once you are in position take out your camera and get a clear photo of the statue. The red mark will appear if the angle of the photo is clear and is ready to be clicked.
Return to Bonzai with the picture. He will be shocked to see the photo as he did not believe the rumors of the statue and after taking the photo, as well as the snow boots, he will reward you with “Sand Boots” for completing the quest.
