With a long main storyline like Code Vein, you can get bored and might be looking for side quests or the other content the game offers. That’s when depths come in handy. You can explore depths like caves and the game as much as you can, but for that to happen, you need to find maps for depths. In this guide, I’ll tell you the depth maps’ locations.
How to Find All Depths Maps in Code Vein
There are 12 Depth Maps in Code Vein, some of which you can find from interacting with NPCs or simply lying in the environment. Once you’ve found the maps, you can use them after talking with Davis at your base.
1. Den of the Darkness
After teleporting to Outer Crossroads, talk to the merchant there called “Shang” and retrieve the map.
2. Den of the Dead
After you get the Den of the Darkness map, keep going south into an underground place, taking stairs, and you’ll find this map near a dead soldier.
3. Town of Sacrifice
After teleporting to the Decayed Ship Interior at the Dried-Up Trenches, drop down and keep going around the mountain’s edge until you find a staircase. Climb up from there and retrieve the map from the dead soldier.
4. Flood of Impurity
From the entrance to the Mistle of the Cathedral of Sacred Blood, you’ll want to drop down the ladder and climb the stairs next to it. Follow the cave to the end, where you’ll find another staircase, which you will climb and look behind. There will be a corner in which lies the map.
5. Misty Ruins
This map will be found at the end of the Crypt Spire area. There will be a lot of enemies to deal with while you’re finding the map. Just reach the location in the picture, and you’ll find the map there.
6. Zero District
This map can be found below a staircase in Government Square in Provisional Government Outskirts. Just head forward until you find a staircase, and below it, you’ll find the map.
7. Void District
You can find this map through the Entrance of the Provisional Government Center. Head forward, drop down from a staircase, keep going on, climb the ladder, and you’ll find the map near this dead soldier.
8. Swirling Flood
At first, you will get the “Den of the Darkness” map from Shang. After an event where you protect him from Lost. After Beating the Cathedral of Sacred Blood and Successor of the Ribcage boss. Talk to Shang again; he’ll give you the Swirling Flood map after completing the quest.
9. Cliffs of Rust
You can get this map by talking to this guy, but only after completing the Self-Important Revenant quest at the Parking Garage in Ruined City Center.
10. Silent White
After receiving the Swirling Flood map, talk to Shang again to get a quest, and you’ll get the SIlent White map along with it.
11. Arachnid Grotto
After talking to Gustav at the entrance of Dried-Up Trenches, go on a quest afterward on your fourth request from him. You will need to find three info pieces scattered at different places.
- Damage Report to the Southwest of the Outlook Tower Mistle in Cathedral of Sacred Blood
- Project Evaluation to the East of the Observatory Site Mistle in Ridge of Frozen Souls
- Citizen’s Opinions on the third floor of the parking garage in Ruined City Center

12. Rocky Ruins
You can get this map after completing the questline for Self Important Revenant and Richard and talking to Richard to retrieve the map.
