The tactical first-person shooter VALORANT is currently working on a Global Open Beta called Premier. VALORANT released a video on their official YouTube channel featuring Game Director Andy Ho and Global Head of VALORANT Esports Leo Faria, who shared the news about VALORANT Premier 2023.
According to the announcement, the Premier Global Beta is planned to begin in Act III of Episode 6, just a couple of months from now. The video teased a bit about VALORANT Premier, and the game director, while briefing about the Premier, said:
Premier will be an exciting way for any five stack of friends to compete together.

Premier is supposed to be VALORANT’s team-based competitive system that will bring the game and sport together. This new platform will invite players to form a team and compete in a series of weekly matches across the Act on designated maps.
If you win a sufficient number of Premier matches, you will advance to the final playoff tournament, where you will compete to be crowned one of the top teams in your skill division. Therefore, Premier is a stage for players that can take them from their bedrooms to the biggest stage in VALORANT.
Global Head of VALORANT Esports, Leo Faria while talking about the Premier said:
In the future, Premier will be the path to the VCT Challenger leagues. No more open qualifier events. Your path to pro starts in-game, and if you do great, you get a shot at Challengers.
Leo Faria
Adding on, he also stated:
It will, of course, take us some time to make this a reality, but we are incredibly excited to build this very unique path of pro and create opportunities for players all around the world.
