Riot Games has just released a brand new Valorant Episode 5 Act 3 trailer, which shows us the upcoming update and what it brings to the table. The trailer was also heavily focused on Harbor and its abilities, a brand new agent that will be added to the ever-growing roster of Valorant.
The new trailer proudly shows off Agent 21, Harbor. The character was officially revealed a few days ago via a trailer, which revealed the character’s past. Valorant’s Harbor, whose real name is Varun Batra, is the first official Indian Valorant agent. However, before he was officially revealed, various leaks showcased the character and his past, such as how Harbor came to possess his power to control the water by a mysterious bangle.
Riot has stated that the primary goal of the brand-new Act was to lean into a theme meant to evoke a feeling of adventure that is meant to feel mysterious and fun. According to Valorant producer Laura Baltzer:
We have probably the most cohesive thematic of any we’ve done before. This battle pass was meant to feel mysterious and fun, to lean into a thematic of adventure. We even explore some of our current Agents’ pasts in the Unearthed card series. With the Iridian Thorn skin line, we were trying to create weapons that felt like a fusion between ancient technology and the natural mystery of a rare flower. At the same time, we have Starlit Odyssey, the skin line with variants in this battle pass.
