Riot Games have announced a new skin bundle for its tactical shooter, Valorant. The game developers have announced that the Black Market Skin Collection will be available in the game on April 12th, which is only two days away, so the hype is real.
A teaser was released to showcase the amazing bundle. The trailer confirms that the likes of Vandal, Bulldog, Marshal Classic, and Melee – Butterfly Knife will rock the new bundle, and from the looks of it, you’ll be sold on the appealing design.
The Black Market Skin appears to be quite typical, with the weapons sporting an iconic real-world gun look that is quite pleasing to the eye. Furthermore, the design is neat and minimalistic, complementing the dark theme. All in all, the design will entice you to spend your money.
This bundle, however, will be quite different from the usual ones because it includes a little twist to add to the awe. This time around with the Black Market Bundle, weapon skins will change depending on whether you’re attacking or defending.
If the newly added feature strikes a chord with you, you are not alone. Riot Games has never paid homage to Counter-Strike, the grandfather of tactical shooters, until now, but the Black Market Skin appears to break the tradition. This has seen a positive reception from the fans, as they will see their favorite CS designs coming over to Valorant.
When comparing the Black Market skin bundles to CS:GO skins, the Vandal skin resembles the default AK-47, the Classic skin resembles the CS Glock pistol, whereas the Bulldog skin looks more like the FAMAS.
When it comes to the pricing of the bundle, Valorant has not released an official price however, by the look of it, the bundles will most likely be featured in the Premium Skins tier. If this speculation turns out to be true, the entire Black Market Skin bundle will cost around 7000 Valorant Points, with individual guns costing around 1775 Valorant Points. The official prices will most likely drop with the bundle itself, so you’ll have to wait until then.
