SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake was announced almost a year ago by THQ Nordic. Now, just a few weeks remain before we can play as our beloved cartoon character Spongebob himself.
Bikini Bottomites is a new sneak peek of things the game offers, introducing us to the main characters Patrick, Gary, Sandy, Squidward, and many more.
The story we know so far is that SpongeBob and Patrick have an unexpected meeting with Kassandra, a fortune teller who gives them a vial full of wish-granting Mermaid Tears. The duo of SpongeBob and Patrick have the power of wishes coming true seems like danger itself. They use their wishes the wrong way, opening up portals and realms of a different dimension, which starts all of the chaos and the cosmic adventure of our heroes, saving the Bikini Bottomites from destruction. We can interact with our favorite characters while our adventure, whether it be Patrick, Squidward, or Sandy, all voiced by their original voice actors.
All of us now await this game’s release date, which is January 31st, 2023. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Pre-purchasing the game will include an official costume pack and 7 additional packs for free on Steam.
