In recent times, Sony has released plenty of PlayStation exclusives over to PC, including titles likes like God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man. Now, according to a Reddit post, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart also appears to be making its way to the PC.
Nixxes’ new job postings seek a skilled UX/UI engineer to assist in implementing and improving the UI experience for upcoming AAA PC games. According to the job listing, they are in search of an individual that has experience in using Coherent middleware. The job description says:
We’re looking for a highly collaborative, passionate, and skilled UX/UI Engineer to help implement and improve the UI experience for upcoming AAA PC titles.
Job Description
This has fueled speculation that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is being developed for the PC by the PlayStation subsidiary. It is because of the fact that only the PlayStation games from Insomniac use the middleware, and since both Spider-Man games have already been released on PC, Rift Apart is the only option left.
Since Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Spider-Man: Miles Morales were developed by Nixxes, it’s likely that they’ll pull off another Insomniac title. However, this has yet to be officially confirmed, so it’s too early to tell what’s in store, but a PC port for Rift Apart is on the table.
