It is no secret that February 27th is celebrated as Pokemon Day to commemorate the anniversary of the Pokemon franchise’s launch. The Day has recently been marked by some significant announcements and social media campaigns to hype up the franchise and remind the gaming community that The Pokemon Company is still in the game.

This year was expected to be no different, with the 27th of February approaching near, and boy, The Pokemon Company didn’t disappoint. It has just been confirmed that they will host a Pokemon Presents on February 27th at 3 AM ET and 6 AM PT on their official YouTube Channel.

The next #PokemonPresents is on the way, Trainers! 🤩

Tune in to our official YouTube channel at 6:00 a.m. PST on February 27 for about 20 minutes of exciting Pokémon news in celebration of #PokemonDay 2023! 🎉

The Live Stream on the Pokemon YouTube channel is expected to run a total of 20 minutes. Now the question is, what is in for the fans in those 20 minutes? For starters, the stream will cover some exciting news from across the Pokemon franchise.

There are quite a few speculations, but sources confirm that the stream might contain an announcement to include DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, along with the confirmation of a few patches and improvements to the game.

There is also new surfacing that the stream might potentially contain information about the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game, which seems quite promising, and fans are hoping to see it come to a reality.

In our opinion, it might also contain some information about Detective Pikachu 2 or Pokemon Sleep, as both these have been in the works for quite some time now. Pokemon fans also expect that the Pokemon games will be added to Nintendo Switch Online, following the suits of the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance.
