PlayStation has revealed the PlayStation Plus game catalog lineup for December 2022, and it’s quite a collection of games for both Extra and Premium subscribers. It’s a great lineup, especially if you’re a fan of the Yakuza series or the Far Cry franchise.
The company recently announced the lineup as their PS Plus service would soon welcome 18 more PS4 and PS5 games to its Extra and Premium tiers. The lineup includes several big franchises such as the Yakuza series, WWE 2K, and Far Cry; the games consist of relatively new titles and some that have been out for a few years, with a few of these games offering PS5 exclusives. Version too. All but one of the games will be available from December 20th.
The lineup is coming to PlayStation Plus alongside three free PlayStation Plus titles for December 2022: Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, Divine Knockout, and Biomutant. All three of them are available to download right now.
Among the more noteworthy inclusions in the list are a few Yakuza games. These are Yakuza 6, Judgement, and Yakuza 7. All three games are crime dramas that feature the fictional city of Kamurocho and center around Japanese mafia families. 2 of the listed games are action-packed beat-em-up games. At the same time, Yakuza 7 is a turn-based JRPG, a first for the series. All three games also focus heavily on story and feature a content-rich open world for players to explore.
The game that won’t be available right away is WWE 2K22. For whatever reason, PlayStation says the wrestling game will have to wait until January 3rd to be added to the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers.
