Deep Silver announced today that the third installment of the highly acclaimed co-op heist trilogy Payday 3 would enter a technical closed beta before its full release in September 2023, with a classic heist and the original gang available to play.
The close beta will feature the original lineup of characters, including Dallas, Hoxton, Chains, and Wolf. In addition, each playable character will have a distinct skill set to make the gameplay more exciting and intriguing.
Furthermore, the Payday 3 closed beta will include a heist called No Rest for the Wicked; the heist will allow players to loot a bank and clear out its cash vault. The players will have two choices, either sneak up to the bank and rob all the money without anyone noticing or enter with a bang in broad daylight to create chaos worthy of the big screen.
The developers also revealed that you will be able to test out all difficulties in order to determine how difficult you want your ill-gotten gains to be. Furthermore, you will have access to the majority, if not all, of the in-game weapons.
The closed beta will also include cosmetics and an Infamy Level of 22, so you’ll be able to obtain some skill points as well. The best part is that players will be able to stream and capture footage from the beta.
How to Play Payday 3 Closed Beta
The registrations for the Payday 3 beta are now open, and you can get yourself registered at the official closed beta page. To access the beta, Xbox players are required to head over to the Xbox Insider Hub and navigate to previews and eventually select PAYDAY 3.
However, if you’re on PC, the closed beta can be accessed through the official Steam page of the game. Simply go to the Steam Page and click the Request Access button. The developers will then select players at random to enter the beta on a daily basis.
The Payday 3 beta will be available on Xbox Series X and Series S and on PC via Steam from 2nd August to 7th August.
