A brand new Nintendo Switch variant is available just a few months after the previous one as the new Switch OLED Model: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Edition is officially on sale and can be purchased. The release of this new variant is just in time for the next Pokémon game’s release, which is set to release in a few weeks. If the release of this console’s previous special edition variant versions is any indication, it’s likely to go out of stock soon.

The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet model features striking artwork, especially on the back of the console itself. You’ll find all three starter Pokémon, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, adorned with plenty of other symbols and designs from the Pokémon world.

The white dock has images of legendary Pokémon, Koraidon, and Miraidon, on the front and a Poke Ball design on the back. It also comes with purple and red Joy-Con controllers with printed characters. The back of each Joy-Con features images of Pokémon that are highlighted in purple or red, matching the colors on the console.

Many retailers offered pre-orders before the launch date of November 4th, but they sold out quickly. If you live in a select few regions, Best Buy and Gamestop currently have the bundle in stock if you want to pick up the console today. However, you can only order it for pick-up at your local store.

It’s important to note that this console variant does not include Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, which will launch on November 18 for $60 for each title or as part of a $120 double bundle of both titles. The special edition console is priced at $360, only $10 more than the standard version. If you’re a person who is interested in a Nintendo Switch OLED but has never managed to purchase one in the past, now is the perfect time to do so.
