The quirky side-scrolling RPG LISA is getting a Definitive Edition that brings a complete LISA experience to the table, combining both LISA: The Painful and its expansion LISA: The Joyful. The Definitive Edition will bring new content and nightmares to the game with added gameplay enhancements.
In a nutshell, LISA: Definitive Edition is a remastered version of the game that incorporates the latest graphical and gameplay enhancements to make the game fit for the next-gen platforms providing a full LISA experience.
When it comes to graphics, LISA: Definitive Edition includes updated HD visuals and pixel-perfect integer scaling. The update will include border art overlays that will allow for wide-screen viewing. Furthermore, it provides 120 FPS for both current-gen consoles and PCs.
The gameplay is also overly revamped, including new quests and updated battle systems that will spice things up even more. The updated battle system introduces the new Warlord Abilities. The Definitive Edition will include a Painless Mode for players looking for an easier time in the game.
Furthermore, brand-new campfire conversations have also been added to the game, but it doesn’t stop there. The additions will also feature new music adding 20+ new exclusive songs along with the previous classical tracks. Moreover, 12 localized languages have been added to the game.
Serenity Forge has announced that LISA: Definitive Edition will be released on July 18 across all platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The Definitive Edition bundle, including both LISA: The Painful (Definitive Edition) and sequel LISA: The Joyful (Definitive Edition), will cost $24.99.
