It hasn’t been long since the release of Genshin Impact patch 3.5, and while gamers were still busy exploring the new content introduced with the patch, leaks of Genshin Impact patch 3.6 surfaced, diverting the attention of the majority of the fans.
Although the Genshin Impact patch 3.6 is scheduled to go live in mid-April, the leaks have got the fans on their toes. According to leaks, patch 3.6 will include tons of new stuff, including maps, artifacts, playable characters, weapons, and whatnot. Here’s a rundown of the leaks.
HoYoverse has confirmed that two new Dendro characters will be added to the roaster of playable characters with the upcoming update. These include Kaveh and Baizhu.
Kaveh will be a four-star character while Baizhu will be a new five-star, and according to reports, chances are that both these characters might end up appearing on the same banner cycle, allowing players to acquire both characters in their roster by spending Primogems on just one banner.
The update will also see a map extension of the desert region of Sumeru. This will be the third extension the region will go through. Several leaks suggest that the new region will be around the same size as that of the Desert of Hadramaveth. The new map will feature a number of new World Quests and trees to spice things up.
Tree Offering Mechanics
Several Reddit sources revealed that the trees on the newly added map are not just for aesthetics, but they will feature an offering system that can be unlocked upon completion of various quests. This new mechanic is quite similar to the Lumenstone Adjuvant offering.
Several other new game mechanics are also expected from the update, as are several new gadgets to help players navigate the new mechanics.
The addition of a new map adds to the prospect of new bosses, and based on the recent leaks, Genshin Impact 3.6 will include a new Trounce Domain featuring the new weekly boss Apep. Apep, by the looks of the leaks, appears to be a tough boss, and sources confirm that Baizhu and Kaveh will require item drops from this boss in order to level up.
Since the newly added map will have a number of new quests to complete, there is an opportunity for players to earn Primogems and unique name cards. According to the leaks, the game will add three new name cards with the update.
According to the leaked card designs, one card might be a reward for completing all of the achievements in the new region, while the other will be a reward for the tree offering mechanics. However, the final card featuring the Tree of Dreams suggests that the level cap restriction will be removed.
Consecrated Beasts and Hilichurls
The update will also add two new beasts to the lineup of Consecrated Beasts. These beasts include the Consecrated Fanged Beast along with the Consecrated Horned Crocodile. Their appearance is totally savage.
Apart from the Consecrated Beasts, the Hilichurls will also feature two new faces in the form of Hydro Hilichurl Ranger and Anemo Hilichurl Ranger. As their name suggests, these Hilichurls will use Hydro Slimes and Anemo Slime, respectively.
