Funko Fusion was first revealed last year in July, and it was reported at the time that 10:10 Games had been working on the game for about a year. After years in development, the action-adventure game finally received its first official gameplay trailer today.
The game will be a revolutionary new take on action-adventure games, with characters from a broad spectrum of media franchises appearing in a major crossover. It will allow gamers to play as their favorite Funko Pop characters and the realms from which they originate.
The official trailer stars characters from various franchises, including Jurassic World, The Mummy, The Thing, Battlestar Galactica, The Umbrella Academy, Back to the Future, Chucky, and Masters of the Universe, to name a few. Each character comes with its own set of abilities and personalities.
When it comes to gameplay, Funko Fusion will have an emphasis on multiplayer gameplay, so you can bring friends to team up for an epic ride. Furthermore, it will have some shooting elements along with some puzzle-solving scenarios. All in all, it appears to be a daring take on the Lego action-adventure formula, with players exploring environments, combat challenges, and cooperating to solve puzzles.
The Lego vibes from the game are not merely an accident; it is due to the fact that 10:10 Games was co-founded by TT Games founder and five-time BAFTA award winner Jon Burton. Funko Fusion is set to release in early 2024 for PC and consoles.
