The highly awaited Soulslike action RPG Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn has reportedly been delayed to the year 2024. The game developers announced the delay on their official Twitter handle, and it was revealed that the decision to delay the project was made in order to provide the best experience possible at launch.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn was first revealed last year at the Xbox Showcase 2022, enticing many fans with a first look at the gameplay reveal trailer. It was previously scheduled to be released in early 2023, but that clearly did not happen, and it has now been revealed that we will have to wait another year for the game to be released.
The developers also revealed that the team at A44 Games has been working hard to weave together an enticing world with a remarkable combat system to create a highly enjoyable Souls-like adventure and that another year spent on the game will likely propel it to rank among the best in 2024 releases.
Since another year will ensure that the game is released in a polished state with no potentially game-breaking bugs, the gaming community has come out in support of A44 Games. Although the developers revealed that Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn would launch next year, they didn’t specify a specific release window. It can be early 2024 or might even end up getting released in the latter half of the year. A44 Games might release further updates in the near future as the title develops.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is an action RPG with gunplay, fantasy, and magic that will be available on all platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
