Activision and Raven Software have provided a breakdown of the upcoming update that will see the return of the Plunder mode and several Buy Station additions, along with a new set of events, including the return of Resurgence mode. Season 3 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will be available on April 12.
The Plunder mode for context was first released with the original Warzone, challenging a squad to collect cash as quickly as possible. However, with the update, matches will be sorted into six different events, and according to the game developers, some of the events will co-occur. The official Blog by Warzone 2.0 said:

The developers have revealed three events: Blood Money, The Heat, and Money Siphon. The Blood Money event will double your cash for killing and looting Operators. Blacksites and Strongholds will be able to pay five times their standard reward during the Heat event. The Money Siphon event will have ATMs all over the map giving out an endless supply of cash. However, three events, including Cannon Fodder, Choke Hold, and Contractor, will be revealed at the launch.
The Call of Duty official Blog further reveals that the Buy Station additions feature a Credit Card, Life Insurance, and an Angel Investor. The credit card will have the perks of a 10% cashback, while the Life Insurance will let you keep half your money after a respawn. Whereas the Angel Investor will provide a contract with enhanced payouts.
In addition, the Plunder mode will offer nine distinct rewards for completing various tasks such as winning Plunder matches, defeating AI or human opponents, and simply playing matches. The rewards include cosmetic items such as calling cards, vehicle camo, and other items.
The Resurgence mode for Al Mazrah will become available with the launch of season 3. This particular mode will see a total of 150 players competing against each other in different squad sizes, so there will be plenty of action.
The Season 03 update will bring several new and returning features to all Warzone 2.0 modes, especially Battle Royale, which will see the Redeploy Drones descend on Al Mazrah starting on April 13.

The Resurgence mode will have the Redeploy Drones descend on Al Mazrah, which will be placed at random positions for every match. They will, however, be roughly spaced apart. So, if you’re quick enough, you can get to different points of interest without getting caught in the crossfire. Therefore, these drones will be critical to the survival tactics of your squad. The official Blog by Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 details the update.
