The Japanese indie studio KOHACHI STUDIO, formerly PrimaryOrbit, has announced a side-scrolling run-and-gun game Black Finger JET via ver.Zero teaser trailer. The game is being developed by ex-Irem and SNK developers. The development team includes veterans such as Shinano Ishiguro as director, Akio as the main artist and planner, and Hiya! as a sound producer. In addition, Meeher will serve as the producer, with Esaka-Ken serving as the pixel artist. Samuel Lafleur and Boo ME will also be on board as 3D model collaborators.
Although the studio has previously worked on several action shooting games, Black Finger JET will be an entirely new concept, and the game will have a vintage feel to it. It follows a conventional and an easy to follow story packed with exhilarating action shooting that will undoubtedly boost your adrenaline.
Black Finger JET is a fast-paced shooter based on the classic 8-way aiming. When it comes to weapons, the game includes handguns, shotguns, machine guns, and an exclusive JET car. In order to gain the upper hand against the enemies, players must switch between weapons as per need.
The most intriguing addition to the game will be the Jet car. The car comes with an extensive array of tools and is meticulously constructed, allowing it to transform into various vehicles depending on the situation. It can convert into a submarine or even an airplane depending on your needs.
Black Finger JET is currently in the works to launch for PC via Steam. However, no release date has been specified by the developers.
