Atlas Fallen, the fantasy RPG with soul-like elements, was initially announced on the Opening Night of Gamescom 2022 and was supposed to be released by the end of March. However, the game saw a delay, and its release was pushed to the spring of 2023.
Deck13 Interactive, the German development studio behind The Surge and Lords of the Fallen, announced that the game would be delayed until the spring of 2023. Yesterday, February 28, Deck13 shared a message on Twitter, writing:
We have been awfully quiet lately… time to change that soon.

The tweet hinted at an impending announcement. Unfortunately, Sony has spoiled the surprise at the studio by opening pre-orders for Atlas Fallen, which is now available for purchase on the PS Store with a listed release date.
According to PlayStation Store, Atlas Fallen will arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on May 16, 2023. The game is already available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store, with a pre-order bonus including The Ruin Rising Pack, which nets players armor and gauntlet skins, essence stones, an idol, and a co-op indicator. The game costs 2199 rubles on Steam, $59.99 on the PlayStation Store, and $59.99 on the Xbox Store.
Later today, Focus Entertainment officially confirmed the May 16th release date via twitter.
The announcement only shared four screenshots of the game and didn’t reveal anything else, but the tweet promised a Gameplay Reveal Trailer would be released soon.
